See the fantastical roofscape of the Victoria Buildings …

Peggers’ early morning customers …
The Heritage Lottery Funded ‘Stories of Sneinton Market’ team are hosting an evening showing short films, all starring Sneinton Market.
- A clip taken from a film of a Stephen Lowe play, ‘Cries from a Watchtower’, about – you’ve guessed it – a watch maker on the market in the changing seventies.
- ‘A Completely Different Way of Life?’ St Ann’s at the time of the demolition, activity on the Market, and Victoria Buildings on Bath Street.
- ‘Last Summer in Sneinton’ is a moving account of Sneinton Market in the early nineties shortly before the wholesale market was moved to Meadow Lane.
- ‘Where’s the Money Ronnie?’ – this short film by Shane Meadows comes with a warning of language and violence.
Bring along people with stories and let’s talk about Sneinton Market!
