Hundreds of campaigners hoping to save a 100-year-old leisure centre in Nottingham have been protesting in the city centre.
The city council has backed plans to replace the Victoria Leisure Centre in Sneinton with a £9m sports complex.
But those opposing the plan took to the streets with a march from the Old Market Square to Sneinton market.
Councillor David Trimble said the plan to replace the leisure centre with a new facility would benefit the area.
Last April campaigners gathered a 600-signature petition calling for the baths to be preserved but they suffered a blow when English Heritage refused to support a request to give them heritage status.
